Advantage Home Care staff
Caring for Douglas County since 2007!
We are professionals.
We truly believe in the home care model: helping seniors and disabled people be safe and comfortable, in their own homes.
Owners and office staff have over 100 years of combined experience in the caregiving business. Many of us started as part time caregivers, loving the work and our clients so much we made a career of home care. Pictured are a few staff members: left to right: Scott Arensmeier – Office Manager; Mandy Warner – Scheduler; Larisa Sparrowhawk – Administrator, Sara Romero – Med Aide, Carol Ralph – Receptionist, Brenda Eifert – Bookkeeper.
Not pictured: Tracey Leder and Maren Padovich – Registered Nurses, Mike Johnson and Clarisa Shepard – Co-owners, Naomi Chasteen – Med Aide and Independent Living caregiver, Tom Male – Med Aide and Client Services Representative.
Our team looks forward to working alongside you and your family to design a care plan that fits your unique situation and care needs. Our priority is to find the perfect caregivers for you.
Advantage Home Care caregivers
We only hire caregivers we would feel comfortable sending to help our own families.
All applicants must demonstrate friendliness and willingness to follow instructions through the interview, reference and background check, drug test and orientation processes before they are officially hired. New caregivers complete six hours of in-house training within three months of hire. We conduct small classes, to encourage participation and allow our trainers to evaluate understanding.
Furthermore, we provide close supervision, paid continuing education, and recognition of excellence throughout a caregiver’s employment with us. Exceptional caregivers, such as Tom Male, are promoted to a hybrid position, including medication management and office duties.
We believe this extra care and attention provides a better experience not only for our caregivers, but also for the families we serve.
