Reliable, Friendly, Professional Home Care for Your Loved Ones
Advantage Home Care provides superior service because:
Locally Owned Advantage Home Care is not a franchise. Our Grants Pass office was established in 1998 and expanded to Douglas County in 2007. We know our business and the unique needs of our communities. Our accountability is to our clients rather than to an outside entity.
We Care Advantage Home Care supports a culture of caring. We are committed to providing you and your loved ones the highest quality care in your own home. Our team has years of experience navigating the senior care system. We can help make referrals to appropriate resources even if you do not require in-home assistance.
Quality Caregivers Excellent care begins with excellent employees. Our caregivers are closely supervised and receive on-going training and education. Because we truly care about our employees, many have been with Advantage Home Care for over ten years.
Quality Management All members of office staff have years of experience, integrity, empathy and good business sense. Our team will always answer our messages and keep our promises.

What are the steps necessary to establish home care?
Our managers gather basic information by telephone to determine whether our services are a good fit for your needs. Then we schedule a no-charge, no obligation assessment in your home to create a care plan tailored to your needs and wishes. We value a good balance between your independence and your ability to remain safe and comfortable in your own home. We create a care plan together, then send it to third party payers, if any, for approval. We believe home care should make your life easier, and more enjoyable. Therefore, we carefully match caregivers to you, and we strive to create long-term, stable schedules.
We believe in learning as much as possible about each applicant before they ever go to a client’s home. All caregivers must pass reference checks, Oregon and National background checks, an Office of Inspector General Exclusions check, and a sex offender check. We drug test every caregiver. We conduct small orientations, and allow time for questions. In addition to orientation, we conduct bloodborne pathogen and infection control classes, body mechanics training, gait belt and advance transfer techniques, dementia care, and other relevant topics. We explain our high standards for good work habits and respectful, professional behavior.
