Reliable, Friendly, Professional Home Care for You and Your Loved Ones
Advantage Home Care provides superior service because:
Locally Owned Advantage Home Care is not a franchise. We are accountable to our clients and employees rather than to an outside entity. Our owners have 21+ years of agency ownership experience in Oregon. We truly know our business and the unique needs of our community.
We Care Advantage Home Care supports a culture of caring. We are committed to providing you and your loved ones the highest quality care in your own home. Our team has years of experience navigating the senior care system. We can help make referrals to appropriate resources even if you do not require in-home assistance.
Quality Caregivers Excellent care begins with excellent employees. Our caregivers are closely supervised and receive on-going, in-house training and education. Because we truly care about our employees, many have been with Advantage Home Care for over ten years.
Quality Management When selecting office staff, Advantage Home Care looks for employees who demonstrate experience, integrity, empathy and good business sense. Every member of our office staff has also provided excellent caregiving services. Because of our field experience, we understand the needs and desires of our clients and our caregivers, and we keep our promises.

What are the steps necessary to establish home care? Who provides home care?
Our managers gather basic information by telephone to determine whether our services are a good fit for your needs. Then we schedule a no-charge, no obligation assessment in your home to create a care plan that provides a good balance between your independence, your safety, and your comfort. We forward your care plan to third party payers, if any, for approval. We carefully match caregivers to you, and we strive to create long-term, stable schedules. We believe home care should make your life easier, and more enjoyable.
We hire only caregivers we like and trust. To choose well, we have tailored every aspect of our hiring and training process to exceed Oregon state requirements. Our caregivers have presented themselves well on the telephone and in person. They all have at least two good job references and have passed Oregon and National background checks, an Office of Inspector General Exclusions check, a national sex offender check, and a drug test. We conduct small orientations, and allow time for questions. We also conduct in-house continuing education, which includes: bloodborne pathogen and infection control classes, body mechanics training, gait belt and Hoyer lift training, occupied bed changes, dementia care, and other relevant topics.
