Reliable, Friendly, Professional Home Care for Your Loved Ones
Advantage Home Care provides superior service because:
Advantage Home Care is not a franchise. We established our Grants Pass office in 1998 and expanded to Douglas County in 2007. We know our business and the unique needs of our communities. We are accountable to our clients rather than to an outside entity.
Advantage Home Care supports a culture of caring. We are committed to providing you and your loved ones the highest quality care in your own home. We have years of experience navigating the senior care system. We can help make referrals to appropriate resources even if you do not require in-home assistance.
Excellent care begins with excellent employees. Our caregivers are closely supervised and receive on-going training and education. Because we truly care about our employees, many have been with Advantage Home Care for over ten years.
All members of office staff have years of experience, integrity, empathy and good business sense. We answer our messages and keep our promises.
We tailor our care to your needs. Whether you need two hours a month, 24 hours a day, or respite for a family caregiver, we can help!

What are the steps necessary to establish home care?
Our managers will gather basic information to determine whether our services are a good fit for your needs. We will then schedule a no-charge, no obligation assessment in your home to create a care plan tailored to your needs and wishes. We value your autonomy and independence. We will start with enough care to keep you safe and comfortable and will adjust your care plan as your circumstances and needs change.
We carefully screen our caregivers as if we were sending them to work in our own homes. We do one-on-one interviews, looking for friendliness, flexibility and maturity. All caregivers must pass reference checks, Oregon and National background checks, an Office of Inspector General Exclusions check, and a sex offender check. We drug test every caregiver.
We believe in learning as much as possible about each applicant before they ever go to a client’s home. Therefore, we conduct small orientations rather than lecture-style mass hirings. Our orientations include training in infection control, bedsore prevention, memory and behavioral issues, and other relevant topics. We also explain our high standards for good work habits and respectful, professional behavior.
Home care should make your life easier and more enjoyable. Therefore, we hand-pick our caregivers to provide comfortable, friendly service.
